Pirate Software - Game Jam 15 Submission

You have been volunteered to participate in the Adrion Arena, your essence has been transmuted to the arena capsule where you must try and survive for as long as you can.


How to play

Move around the arena and try to survive for as long as possible.  There are only a few power ups at present, speed, jumps and health related.


Controls

Issues and after thoughts

First issue was that the VFX system I wanted to use isn't compatible with WebGL, I didn't find this out until a week in to the jam so had to axe it all and use particle systems instead which wasted a fair amount of time.

The core of the game has been made, systems are in place to create more enemy types, other buffs and other weapons.  In the end it came down to time constraints.

Lack of polish, there are many things which are unpolished but the focus was to get something out that works.  

It was a shame that Unity VFX graph didn't work with webgl.  I wasn't happy with the replacement particle system effects.

Different buffs, enemies and attacks would have been great to get in to this build but sadly time was running out.
